Kansas Basketball Honors Seniors in Final Home Game
The Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team will honor seniors on Saturday, March 5 p.m. in its final game of the regular season at Allen Fieldhouse.
Per tradition, the University of Kansas will celebrate its graduating seniors in the last regular season game at Allen Fieldhouse. Four players, Perry Ellis, Jamari Traylor, Hunter Mickelson and Evan Manning, along with student-manager, Tim Skoch, will be recognized for their Jayhawk careers during Saturday’s game at Allen Fieldhouse. Bob Davis, retiring sports broadcaster, will also be honored.
The Jayhawks (No. 1) will host the Iowa State Cyclones (No. 21). Kansas won its 12th consecutive Big 12 Conference title and is riding a 10-game winning streak.
“KU is playing so well right now, and it’s the last game for a lot of us in Allen Fieldhouse,” said Mary Fortino, a KU senior student. “It’ll be fun to fill the Fieldhouse one last time.”
Tickets are selling fast but are available at kuathletics.com/tickets. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. Tip off is at 3 p.m.
